Christmas Hampers From the Food Bank
Families and individuals registered with the Helping Hand Food Bank who are in need of Christmas assistance are asked to register for a Christmas hamper during the month of November, at the food bank, 123 Moore St.
Registration can take place any Monday or Wednesday from 1 to 2 pm, or Friday, 6:30 to 7:30 pm, from November 1 to 30.
To receive a hamper containing a turkey or ham, and all of the fixings for a Christmas dinner from the food bank, you cannot have registered for assistance with any other agency.
Christmas hampers may be picked up on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the Holy Martyrs of Japan Church Hall (downstairs) between the hours of 6:00 pm and 7:30 pm.

Christmas Holiday Schedule
The Food Bank will be closed from December 17th 2016 until January 1st 2017. We will reopen on January 2nd, 2017.
Food hampers and toys must be picked up in person at Holy Martyers of Japan Catholic Church on 20th December 2016 between the hours of 6pm and 7:30pm.

Your gift of time is valuable to us and volunteers are welcome. All of our volunteers go through a screening process and on-the-job training with seasoned volunteers. Duties include stocking shelves, sorting food, packing items for clients or filing and reception duties. Please note that it is a policy of the Helping Hand Food Bank that clients cannot become volunteers.
